United Rentals announced that its subsidiary United Rentals North America is offering $750 million principal amount of senior notes due 2025 and $750 million principal amount of 4.875-percent senior notes due 2028 in a registered public offering.

United Rentals and Neff Corp. have entered into a definitive agreement for United Rentals to acquire Neff Rental for $25 per share in cash, for a total purchase price of approximately $1.3 billion.

H&E Equipment Services announced today that it has notified Neff Corp. that it does not intend to submit a revised proposal for the acquisition of Neff, which will permit Neff to terminate H&E’s previously announced agreement to acquired Neff for $21.07 per share.

Sunstate Equipment is not the bidder for Neff Corp., Sunstate Equipment CEO Chris Watts told RER. “For the record, we are not the bidder,” Watts said.
